39F Mostly sunny skies with variable winds throughout the afternoon.
This morning I pulled my bike out of our shed under the deck, and was surprised to see a film of ice on a puddle near the street. Last night was the first freeze, and today was the first clear blue sky I've seen in Sitka in weeks. It is so gorgeous. Snow capped mountains against a cerulean blue sky. On my bike to work I even saw Mount Edgecumbe, Sitka's elusive volcanic mountain that has its own weather pattern that usually involves hiding in the clouds (similar to Denali, aka outside of Alaska as Mt. McKinley).
Yay!
